800 Watt High Power Inverter (Certified Refurbished
I was looking for a inverter for use during blackouts, just basically for LED lighting, to connect to my deep cycle marine batter, which I always keep charged. Found this excellent value from Duracell for a certified refurbished and fully warrantied unit and couldn't pass it up. Figure I can also unit when out in nature, camping or such to power come creature comforts. Looks like brand new.

Power outages
Well I am using my inverter with a battery that's not connected to any vehicle, so I don't know if it would had blown any fuse. In any case this inverter is way better than the one I had before. I will try it connected to my car but I won't let it unsupervised, just in case of any short circuit. This inverter has a solid construction, will use it continuously cuase of the power outages after MARIA.
