Very underrated product

I've used the Powerpack Pro 1100 for the last year as emergency backup when I go into the field. I found the versatility and utility excellent as I could charge electronics, run game systems or movies on camping/road trips, fill car and bike tires during routine maintenance, and jump V6 and smaller vehicles with ease. I see people spending 2-3x as much for "Survival" or "Overland" products that can't do half of what this does from a trusted brand. The unit is small enough to mount under or behind a seat or console in larger SUVs/Minivans.

I switched from a Lexus GX to Subaru Forester and store it behind the second row neatly under the cargo net in the trunk. If you've got a truck, this would also fit inside a RamBox. It's big and heavy enough that your kids probably won't want it sitting between them in the backseat, but small enough that I never feel like I've given up my trunk for safety. I've charged my MacBook Pro and phone off it several times each on business trips. The jumper cables are high quality, clearly labeled, easily stored, insulated and intuitive to use. Most importantly, they work and are safe.

Battery idle in extreme weather is great. I went 2-3 months without using it and it was still 95-97% charged. The flashlight seems to have a wider area of motion in this model than the 1100 and is a bright LED. The compressor performs well, and pumps tires faster than typical dirty gas station units. My only complaint with the 1100 is it couldn't quite start a dead…

As advertised

I just got this for peace of mind. All of it seems to work fine for my needs...jumps, air compressor, and cell phone charging. Just wish it had a DC to DC charging option included.

I looks and looked and

Looked at others trying to beat this Duracell 1300 and after thinking long and hard ordered it through Costco. Love it! Powers my

Portable Pellet pit boss smoker perfectly.

Great Product

This is a great product. You can use this when you have a power outage, blow up tires, etc. We use this when our power goes out. We can have a lamp plugged in and charge a cell phone at the same time. We had a older version of this product that lasted many many years. Hope to have this new unit along time. Great for a lot of uses.

It's a beast, and it may save your bacon.

We have an old V8 Land Rover. When it sits, the battery drains down and it's very hard to start. The Powerpack fires it right up with gusto! A nice design touch is that there is a compartment for the charging cord. Loosing the charger for anything, but especially an emergency jump pack, can be a real nightmare.

I also have learned that you can charge the pack through the CLA (cigarette lighter adapter, ie, the 12v accessory port) which means I can put a solar panel trickle charger on it. Fantastic.

General Questions

You may connect a 12v Lead Acid battery using the jumper cables if you need to extend run time.

You may charge the unit with a solar using the CLA port. Max 40W solar panel without a controller, max 100W solar panel with a controller.

You may charge the unit with a solar using the CLA port. Max 40W solar panel without a controller, max 100W solar panel with a controller.

You can use the CLA port or you can attach it with alligator clips to the jumper clamps, and turn the red switch ON. Your solar panel MUST have a controller if more than 40W.

We do not recommend the PowerPacks for medical use.

The air compressor/inflator can not be run for more than 5-7 minutes, or it will overheat and damage it. After using the compressor for 5 minutes, please allow it to cool off for 10 minutes before using again.

The Charger is designed to look for peak voltages to turn the light to green. As lead Acid batteries age they are unable to get to peak voltages but the battery is fully charged. If the light does not turn green after 12 hours, it is fully charged and can be disconnected. You can verify the charge by letting it rest for 15 minutes than pressing the fuel gauge button.

Connect an external 12v lead acid battery using the jumper cables, and turn the big red switch on. Lead acid batteries like to stay charged to prevent permanent loss of capacity. Make sure to charge your batteries at least once every 3 months.

No. It is only designed to jump start vehicles.
