Duracell Standby Powerplugs
Duracell® Standby Powerplugs provide standby backup power so you can operate essential electronics in your home during a power outage, such as a lamp, cordless or cell phone, other electronics or small appliances. Mount the Standby Powerplug on a wall in your kitchen, utility room or other convenient location. When the power goes out, the Standby Powerplug's built-in emergency light illuminates, making it easy to locate. The Standby Powerplug can be detached from its mount, and carried to a location where you can easily connect devices to the Standby Powerplug's AC outlets.
Be prepared in advance of an emergency. Connect your Duracell® Standby Powerplug to an AC outlet and connect devices to it. Devices will receive AC household power passed through the Powerplug when grid power is available. When the power goes out, devices will automatically transfer to the Standby Powerplug's internal battery power, so your devices continue to operate without interruption. When grid power returns, the Standby Powerplug and devices connected to it transfer back to grid power. The Duracell® Standby Powerplug recharges its internal battery so it's ready when the next power outage occurs.
